Tetrosyl are pleased to announce a major modernisation and reorganisation of its manufacturing and office premises to support the continuing growth and success of the business.
Part of the closing down of the Walmersley site includes the redevelopment of Tetrosyl’s existing office and manufacturing facility and the establishment of a new corporate headquarters in Rochdale Town Centre. The Newgate House office has been acquired for this purpose and the relocation also includes the company’s research and technical development centre plus a major new showroom feature for the company’s wide range of products.
Peter Schofield, Chairman of Tetrosyl Group Ltd., said:
“I am proud of the fact that Tetrosyl has its roots very firmly in Bury and the North West where it has been able to grow and develop for over 60 years from a small business to the international corporation it is now".
“The investment we are making in new and improved premises and equipment will further accelerate our performance as the leading supplier of car care products in Europe. We are proud of our heritage and also that brand leading products like T-Cut & CarPlan will continue to be made in Bury well into the future”.
“We have an excellent manufacturing base situated at Bridge Hall in Bury that will be further expanded, creating a state of the art manufacturing facility which will serve the company, its employees and Bury for many years into the future. The Walmersley facilities which are predominantly Victorian Mills are showing their age and we needed to look for new premises to better meet the needs and demands of our customers from around the world”.
Schofield also points out “The opportunity to acquire Newgate House came along at a time when we had to make the decision to move and we are very pleased to have now acquired this building. I have to say that the response and support we have received from Rochdale Council and Rochdale Development Agency has been first class”.
Councillor Richard Farnell, Leader of Rochdale Council, said:
“We are delighted that Tetrosyl have decided to locate their new headquarters in Rochdale Town Centre and regard it as a tremendous vote of confidence in the Council’s ongoing plans to create an even better town centre”.
“Rochdale Council and the Rochdale Development Agency have been working hard to ensure that Newgate House can be transformed into a first class headquarters building for this important company and that it connects well with the rest of the town centre”.
“We look forward to welcoming the company and their employees to their new home in Rochdale”.
